COLLIN YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHY
Behold the mind and soul of me.
The Average Photographer
ABOUT ME:
I'm not one for telling personal stories about how I came to be and all that jazz, so I'll jump right into it.
It was only a year ago that I truly discovered my passion for photography. I see it as a way to physically express and capture your ideas and memories so they can be shared with others. I've taken that into account not only with my own personal photography for family members and friends but also with my work in school. My skills have improved dramatically from the use of one subject to many and my lighting and composition has gotten more "ecstatic" with my wider array of imagination.
This website will showcase my best work as well as my themed portfolio created for Grade 12 Photography. I hope you will enjoy because chances are I won't be uploading regularly.
MY BEST SHOTS

Please enjoy.
THEMED PORTFOLIO: MENTAL ILLNESS
By Collin Young
In this portfolio, I will be showcasing my physical representations of different mental illnesses. Through my own experiences with the showcased syndromes and disorders, I have witnessed and memorized the many feelings and sensations one may endure when faced/paired with such mental illnesses, and composed them into what I believe a physical form of said mental illnesses would look like. I myself have suffered from a select few of these, so they only add to the compositions I create.
I believe mental illness is something we should all talk about, but I strongly feel like it should be expressed any which way it can; either through descriptions or artistic outlets, like this portfolio has attempted to do. The only hope I have is for people to take something away from these images; good or bad, and keep it with them.
